Community Lunch 2026

This year the Community Lunch was held on Saturday 12th September - it was a a wonderful celebration of our community, bringing around 70 people together for good food, friendship and plenty of smiles.

From homemade quiche, breads, salads and muffins to delicious jams, cakes and so much more, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

A heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who gave their time, energy, table collecting, putting up gazebos, supplying plums, grapes, pumpkins, sausage rolls, olives, bread table and baking skills to make the lunch such a welcoming and special occasion.

It’s events like these that show what a fantastic community we have here in Purley.
